Sri Lanka’s competitive butter sculpting scene is hot, hot, hot. In fact, The Baron was in the line of fire when this year’s closing ceremony got too hot. He and his fellow competitors fled the stage after a butter-fingered pyrotechnician dropped the box of Ceylon’s Signature Cinnamon Fireworks, sparking a fragrant fire that melted their sculptures into buttery pools. Captivated by aromas of burnt butter and cinnamon in the air, The Baron decided to immortalise the night in chocolate.
